First establish where the building stands. Then decide in what order to invest — and only then, what support exists for it.
Getting the order right
The common mistake is to replace the plant before looking at the envelope. A heat pump in an uninsulated building needs high flow temperatures, performs poorly and costs more to run than expected. Conversely, insulating without adjusting the controls gives back part of the gain.
So every energy study we do starts with a survey and a calculation, and ends with an order of works rather than a product recommendation.

Is an energy certificate compulsory?
It depends on the canton, the triggering event and the building category — the rules are not the same everywhere. Describe the situation and we will check what applies in your case.
Must subsidies be applied for before starting?
As a rule yes. An application submitted after the work has begun is usually refused. The sequence is part of the planning.
Do photovoltaics pay on a rented building?
Often, but the answer depends on self-consumption, not on roof area. We calculate the profile before recommending anything.
